Back in the late 90’s, we were stuffing cards into coat pockets, holographics bent like they’d survived a battle with a Machamp, and cards at best stored in those glorious ring-pull binders with plastic wallets. It was chaos!

Fast forward 30 years later, we value cards very differently. This might be because they have sentimental value or just because the market has decided a card is worth a lot. The hobby has seriously levelled up and card storage is very different! But, even with all these modern changes, one problem remained:

None of them in our opinion, made your collection feel truly complete.

Back in early 2025, our son’s Pokémon obsession hit critical damage levels. Booster packs were being ripped open faster than Team Rocket blasting off again, and he started organising his growing collection in Vault X binders like his parents.

But, as every parent knows, when a kid wants to make something “theirs,” there’s only one logical move:

STICKERS.

At first? Amazing. Pikachus everywhere. But after a week or two, the stickers started peeling, curling, and looking like they’d been through a failed evolution sequence.

That’s when we had a lightbulb moment.

What if binders could actually feel personal without looking like they’d survived a battle in Viridian Forest?

And just like that, Dropmixer Binders was born in 2025 through a family of collectors, old and young!
